Ask... 'What do the houses run in this area? How much are the
houses
appreciating in this area? Is the neighborhood on its way up or
down?'
Note:
Every neighborhood is either going up or down- never the
same. If you need armed security when you get out at the
house, then that's not the place for your family...
Now,
go
in the neighborhood and pull
some flyers from houses that are for sale. What's the
prices? Are they near the price that you're going to have to pay?
Most
investors/landlords
will bump the price up and will show
you that you'll get the opportunity to get into the house for much
less than it will be worth in a year. But some... will eat

A
year from now
you're trying to get a $150,000 loan on a house that's worth $130,000. (The math won't work
